Duplicate Management:
In Spring'15 release salesforce giving Duplicate Management.Let see how it works.In order to setup Duplication need to know two things Matching Rule, Duplicate Rule
a. Matching Rule: Select the object and Rule name and matching criteria. For example I would like to setup duplicate matching rule on Account by considering Account Name as Fuzzy (Acme, Acme Inc, Acme ....etc) and exact match of Zip Code and don't forget to activate the matching rule
b.Duplicate Rule: Select the object and Rule Name , record level security, Action on Create, Action on Edit, Matching Rule and condition.Record Level Security has two options Enforce Sharing Rules means based on what you can see on account and other one is Bypass Sharing Rules means even record you cannot see but already existed in the system.In this example we will allow the users to create duplicate record but just warn before create.Here is how it looks Duplicate Rule (Don't forget to activate the Duplicate Rule once created)
